This is my card for the MMTPT310 challenge "With a Song in Your Heart and a Smile on Your Face" - to help Grace Anna celebrate her fourth birthday by bringing bright cards, pink cards, party hats and balloons.
This is the first shaker card I've ever made. It was fun except for getting the sequins to stay put - I think there was enough static in them to power a lightbulb!
The background of the shaker was created using the Embossing Folder Stamping technique (apply ink or paint to an ef, spritz with water and lay the paper on top to transfer the image). I added a generous coat of Star Dust Stickles to it and the balloons (there are more on the inside of the card). The rest of the card is self explanatory. I'm not thrilled with how it turned out, but it's bright and pink and sparkly, and I hope it brings a smile to Grace Anna.
As always, thanks for looking!

I think it's PERFECT for her and I love it! Your embossing folder stamping turned out fantastic, something I have not had success with. It's all pink and sparkles. What little girl wouldn't love that!

Well since it's her favorite color, how can you go wrong? All little girls love sparkles and shine, and the fact she can shake this card is a bonus in itself! I say you did a fantastic work of art for Grace~

Your first shaker card? It's gorgeous, I bet you'll be making more. I've always found static a problem, no matter what I do, but it's all part of the fun. This is so stylish and classy looking. I love the metallic look of the "happy". I'm going to have to sit down and figure out how your ef stamping didn't give you a mirror image of the writing, I think my brain is still back on holidays.
