This card was for a coworkers birthday. She loves purple. Had to make it in a rush so I was desperate enough to use some old rejected practice items. The background was a single hydrangea stamp from Lindy's that I stamped and masked repeatedly on glossy paper. I then rubbed different shades of purple dye inks all over. It came out kinda skewed, so reject.. The Kitty stamp was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Also a reject from a practice session. I usually save all my rejects when I practice as sort of a what not to do file. Turns out my rejects actually made a pretty decent card. Just had to place things strategically.

What a beautiful background! I wish my rejects looked this good! I love your idea of saving them too. I like the way you colored your kitty and blossoms.
