I'm on a framed art roll today. I work at the shop where I have my card rack on Saturday so I thought I'd shoot for a couple of new pieces (that and the guilt of looking through my frame stash). I did a better job with the textures this time combining burlap, hemp and the tulle backed ribbon rosettes. I laid my burlap ribbon piece over a sheet of Riding Hood Red cs. I had cut the flags the other day and alternated sides of the dp over a piece of red hemp sponging the edges a bit. I cut two skirts of the music, but the nice texture got smashed by the glass of the frame. My dressform was cut of black and my sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. This looked a lot better before it got smooshed behind the glass, but I thought it needed the protection of the glass.

Lots of nice texture here. I really like the dress with the musical papers and the pretty rosette trim.

This is so cool. I love the dress form, dressed in sheet music. This is a super color combo, and a great design. Sorry it got smooshed, maybe a shallow shadowbox frame could have worked.? I just love everything about this super cool card. tfs.

I love this mix of textures & colors.
I am trying to remember how to make more space between your frames glass and a lumpy piece, ( I think its just a mat (matboard) or two stacked in side) if you had any or I wonder how that foam tape would work? just thinking out loud.
