Cathy challenged us to use lots of texture today, at least 3 different textures on the project. My textures are dry embossed background, heat embossed sentiment, ice cream cones done with a stencil and embossing paste, enamel dots and the pleated ribbon.
The ice cream cones were done by laying my metal stencil onto my card stock and coloring with chalk pastels. I then applied the embossing paste , piling it on a bit onto the ice cream parts of the stencil. When dry, the color from the chalks shows through the translucent paste. Sorry I don't have the original packaging for the stencil, so I don't know who it was made by.
TFL and thanks, Cathy for a fun challenge!

Oh yes, my favorite thing about summer. Eating ice cream. Love the creaminess and coldness of it. Love this card with the great textures.
