For today's teapot party and colors. This is my first attempt at making a card that opens unlike an A-2, so I chose an easy method. I had to take the photo with the card lying down (couldn't keep it closed enough). I paper pieced each balloon, did lots of sponging, added some ribbon using my distress tool to cut a slit on the side of the card. Used heavy sticky tape on one side of the die. The inside says "Celebrate" with lots of stamped confetti. Thanks for stopping in today! ~Roberta

Ha - that's always been my issue with gatefold cards, but they are fun! And I love the way you've pieced the balloons. I'm sure when I used them last week it was the first time I'd used that stamp from the set, and I must remember to use them more, they're great fun.

What a beautiful card!!! I love those delicate colors, just gorgeous!!! Every detail works so well, the ribbon on the side is just right. What a great birthday card!!! :) I think you should try some other card folds, you really made a great one with this first gatefold--wonderful job!!!

Roberta, your card is so cute...just right for this special birthday girl. Plus, you did a great job photographing it. So hard to do with these types of cards. I love the bright colors and cheerful balloons.
