For this week's colored embossing technique challenge. Sheez! The red checkerboard was a deuce to color...
This will go to a friend. We'll be celebrating her July 4th birthday a bit late with a lunch. I figured I'd make her a picnic card rather than a patriotic one. I'm sure she's seen more than her share of red, white and blue on birthday cards...

I love that you used a folder with cute images and you colored them perfectly. I saw your comment on the forum regarding your camera not liking you this morning. I had to laugh as my camera throws little fits like that too. It makes me so mad and I'm too technically challenged to figure out how to set my camera with a different setting to make it better. LOL!

Brenda what a yummy looking card. you did a wonderful job of colouring the embossed areas... but, if you eat a hot dog, hamburger, pie and then watermelon, you are going to be awfully full... love your card....

Sweet card! I, too, have a friend with a July 4th bday, and I don't make patriotic themed cards either; just like I don't like Christmas themed cards for my birthday in Dec. ;)
