This is a birthday card for my friend Kylie (ATS&M / ATCAS owner). There's a birthday linky party on my blog for those that know Kylie and would like to join in.
I mixed heavy gel medium with gold paint and spread it over part of a harlequin stencil. I pounced the three colors of orange ink on my craft sheet, misted with water and dragged the leaves through it several times (drying between each) to get very rich, saturated colors. I misted the leaves with gold spray which is very faint, but it made the leaves sparkle.

I haven't tried the gold embossing paste but after seeing this beauty, it's a must on my list! The gold is such a fabulous backdrop for those gorgeous leaves. The gold threads are such a perfect finishing touch!
