For this week's winter free-for-all challenge, using mft's current color palette. Lots of masking here-- I cut negative masks for her shirt, tights and skirt, stamped bg and sponged them. Kind of looks like paper piecing, but it's masks. Honest. Then I masked the image and stamped the yellow block bg.

Oh, I like how this turned out. It seems like a lot of effort but so worth the results!

Wow, if I understand what you did here, this is amazing. Instead of paper piecing, you cut a negative mask so that you could fill in each piece. Beautifully done on this sweet little ice skater!
