Photo shows the BACK side of Mermaid Art Doll. Her arms and tail are fully articulated, which makes her really fun.
I always try to make the back of my projects interesting while I try to tidy up the mechanics of the project. I chose this patterned paper for the back because it reminds me of pebbles.
I am very lucky to have wonderful friends and family who gift me art supplies every now and then. Special thanks to GottaProduce here on SCS. Sandi gave me a generous supply of lovely translucent vellum - used here to make the mini pocket and on the tail for the sentiment. I love this clear vellum for making envelopes and it runs through the printer with no problem.
Special thanks to my dear cousin, Anne, who recently sent me a huge supply of her old postage stamps that she had collected from years ago. I chose this stamp from Belize for the pretty seashell.
Thanks for looking!
