This is a birthday card I made for my good friend Lynne who is part of the die club I go to every month. She is one of the most talented cardmakers I know and her work is very unique. I wish she posted on SCS so you could enjoy her work.
I down loaded this free paper from my Freebies Board on Pinterest and set it to print 6.5x6.5 and then another piece to cut the roses with (Bitty Blossoms) from the same paper. The leaves are from a Sizzix rose flower die. I left the sentiment paper in the die and sponged some Old Olive around the edges while still in the die and then stamped the Happy Birthday and popped it up on the next larger sizer cut in Old Olive. I cut the edges from the Spellbinder A2 Bracket Borders One set.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look!
edit:
People wanted the link to my Freebies board on Pinterest! Here it is. PM if you don't know how to download it to your computer. I usually just click to the larger picture of it and "save as" to "My Picutres" and then take it from there into a graphics program where I can size it to whatever size I want.

So beautiful Peggy. Lynne will love this. The background paper is gorgeous and I love that you've used it to make your die-cut flowers as well - so clever. The border dies are so pretty layered in the different colors.

This one went right into favorites the second I brought it up! WOW! It's gorgeous and your roses are formed so beautifully. Love that paper and the fact that you created your roses with the same paper! Thanks so much for the freebie link! How perfect to have the paper you want when you want it without storage issues!
