The layout of this card is somewhat simple and doesn't use any patterned paper. Copics were used for shading around the window, the stars, and for the ledge. I looked in my stamp sets for words to create the sentiment and doodled a rectangle around each word. I used one of the star die cuts on his shirt. The boy is and image called Day Dreaming from Crafty Sentiments. I used a craft knife to cut around his elbows so they appeared to be resting on the ledge.

Such an adorable card! You were so clever to put together the words for the sentiment, love all the stars and bling, but have to agree with the others that the way you placed the boy and the window sill is truly inspired! Fantastic card!

Cute card and clever idea to cut out around the elbows...it does give it a dimensional feel. I love the sentiment done that way as individual words...great job!

This is so cute, Cathy!! Cutting around his elbows was a perfect idea - it looks so 3-D. And I love how you outlined each of the words -that's such a fun style, but I don't own any of those kinds of sentiments so I may borrow that idea! Into my favorites!
