Yay! I made it this week. Boy, life has kept me busy lately. Fortunately I had a little breathing time and with a little help from my friend Curt, I was able to put a card together for little Finley.
As you can see Curt truly got into the "spirit" of things. I have been messing around with mixed media in my art journal while Curt has been messing around in my paints! hehe Crazy cow.
So I rolled him on some paper, painted around him and turned it all into a card......actually, the bg is several layers of paints, misc. scraps of paper, etc...
Then I drew Mr. Curt on top of all that and painted around him adding the little extras. Learned this technique from a video I saw Dina Wakley do.
Well, off to the grocery store. Hope you all still remember Curt. I mean, we have been missing for several weeks. Hopefully that won't happen again! hehe TFL :0)
P.S.....forgot to add, this is actually Princess Curt. hehe......now do I get the extra cookies????

Curt! Leave it to him to get into the princess act! This card made me chuckle so I am sure it will delight Miss Finley. Love your technique - it really makes this card sing (Girls just wanna have fun of course).

It is always good to see Curt in the gallery...and very colorfully done up at that! Your mixed media BG is such a nice contrast. I'm a little disoriented as Curt isn't peddling an entremenure scheme...hope that everything is alright. Thanks for bringing Curt to the Teaparty...make sure that you both get extra cookies. I think that one of the crown ones would look lovely on Curt (or in his mouth!) Hugz from NJ, Cathy!
