The background was made for the TLC482 (Embossing Folder Stamping) a few weeks ago but never materialized into anything...until this filigree bird flew in for the faux enamel challenge. The colors seemed well suited for each other. Gina (Stamp TV) did a card recently with the twine wrapped 3 times this way and I liked the look and wanted to give the bird a perch. Strung some star beads onto yellow thread because the twine was too thick. A little Inka gold splashes a little sunshine on his wing area. Corner charm was colored with butterscotch alcohol ink but no enamel there. Another project completed! TFL

Sorry for being late in commenting on this - I was away with almost no internet for a few days! The twine makes a lovely perch for the bird (especially with the added beads!). And the background does indeed appear to be a made-to-match fit with the bird - isn't it wonderful when bits and pieces come together so well. Your corner charm looks like a bell-flower hanging there .
