What a great technique this week. Unfortunately I ran out of wax paper (couldn't scrounge a piece anywhere!) so my next choice was saran wrap instead. It has a finer look which I think is okay. After embossing I cut the frame out with a spelllbinder die, masked the edges and sponged with orchid opulence and Concord from Mr Holtz. The rose is from Marianne Designs and the greeting is from Elizabeth craft designs. We all know how wonderful the members of SCS are..it's a proven fact!! In a recent upload I happened to mention that I was down to my last piece of Orchid Opulence (one of my favourite colours). As it turned out a most wonderful lady Karen (redbugdriver) had some that needed a good home and was generous enough to send it to me. I thank you so much your kindness overwhelms me!

This turned out so beautifully with the purple. Love all those scratchy white lines the Saran wrap used. I didn't have wax paper either, I wadded up some aluminum foil.
Our substitutes worked out nicely I think.

I'm so glad you did the challenge by using what you had on hand.....and the results are wonderful!! Your card is just lovely......and speaking of lovely, you are right about SCSers. Always willing to go an extra mile for a "cyber" friend!!

Your background using Saran wrap is so pretty, just a little different look.
I'm so glad that you will use the cardstock - I've had it forever and was happy to send it to a good home.
