For this week's Clean and Simple Challenge, Lori has chosen the theme "sunsets".
I originally did this in color (which I will be uploading later), but my husband suggested I change it to a black & white color scheme with only the little super hero in color. I really like this version.
To make this, the sun was first sponged with a stencil I created from a nestie circle, and the buildings were masked so the windows would stay white. Then I used a large post it sheet and a light gray color to sponge the rays. Finally, I added the buildings and the superhero.
How do I know this is a sunset and not a sunrise? Because Superman is never awake that early!

This is one great card. NIce to know that super heroes don't get up early!! Maybe bed is the safest place for all of us in the mornings. LOL

Wow! This looks like an art poster! Love the black and white. Kudos to hubby for the idea (and you for taking it) :-) I love your rays reaching out across the sky and the superman figure really helps give some scale. Wow again!
