To make the background I used a Darice embossing folder and rubbed crayons over the paper placed over the inside of the embossing folder. I then ironed it between some parchment paper. I added diecut leaves, and stamped this perfect sentiment from Powerpoppy.

This looks cool! Like Mary, I think I'm going to have to try this. But maybe I need to buy a pack of proper crayons that I can take the wrapper off, first! My only ones are the ones you twist down like pencils, so not good for covering a large area quickly. Thanks for sharing this .

What a great technique for using crayons! I am contunally surprised by the number of things you can do with embossing folders! Very pretty back ground for your fall leaves.
