I used distress inks close to the colors that Karen picked and blended them onto watercolor paper. I then covered the stecil with water from a mister and then laid it on top of the ink. The wet stencil removes some of the distress inks which creates the look of texture. I heat embossed the sentiment from Winnie and Walter as well as a few hearts.

Thanks so much for describing how you did this Harriet! I love the look and it makes a flat card front that is so much easier to decorate up later. :-) I love that glowing array of colours you used. A sunrise of good cheer. TFS
