So many beautiful ATCÂ’s to see! For my card, I was inspired by THIS one. The brown/tan bg and cherry blossom reminded me of these cherry blossoms. And I thought they went perfectly with the paper which also has a cherry blossom in it, & this Bird image.
I stamped the bird, colored with Copics then cut around the areas that would need to be lifted on top of the oval frames. The cherry blossoms were stamped separately, colored and fussy cut. I tucked one branch under the edge of the oval on the right with the rest on top.
Thanks so much for looking! It's just been posted on my blog w/ close ups & the colors of Copics I used: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much fussy cutting and I like the wood panel with the cut out. Awesome idea. Once again you amaze me with your talents!

Your scissor skills are amazing, Julie. This stamp set is the first set I ever ordered from ODBD.

GORGEOUS! What a wonderful color combination - unusual and beautiful. The coloring on the bird is super - I love how it coordinates with the wood BG. Pretty flowers and the out of the box on this one is spectacular! Pinned and fav'd.

I love seeing different ways of colouring that bird.
But for the beak, this colourway makes me think of the little juvenile chaffinch coming to our feeders just now. He's too young to know he's meant to be a ground feeder, LOL. The wood background and cherry blossom are a fabulous setting.
By the way, I know just what you mean about the birds in The Mighty Sea - I've thought the same myself ;-).
