This was a really fun challenge to take part in - using circles on your card. For this mixed media background, I started off with a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. In the end it didn't matter what color it was, because it didn't end up showing through - but never mind! I glued a layer of TH tissue paper over it with the gel matte medium, wrapping the edges around to the back. Then I lightly brushed some white gesso over the tissue to soften it and let it dry. I sprayed Dylusions ink sprays onto the dried piece, let them sit a while and then blotted up the excess ink with a paper towel. I used the bottom of a Dylusions spray bottle to "stamp" water rings onto the piece, let them sit a bit, then blotted them up with the paper towel. I added black rings with a paper towel tube and lime green rings with a plastic lid that was slightly smaller. I used the large end of my stylus to add some gold dots, which kind of remind me of stars. When the whole thing was dry, I mounted it on cardstock and added the white die cut letters. There's a lot of visual depth to this piece, and although it may not show up in the photo, the gold dots really shine in the light. Thanks for looking!

Ooh, this is gorgeous! You made a fab background. I love how you made the rings. I've seen so many things used today, toilet tissue rolls, vases, on and on. Such fun things we crafters do when our imagination takes over.
