Lydia's Mix-Ability challenge for us this week is to create a free-form design using circles. I did that......... and then I covered it up!
My background panel is watercolor paper, and I used my favorite homemade chipboard circle stencil for the first layer of color. I spritzed water through it so I had a bunch of fun wet circles, then dropped ink into the circles and let the colors blend and bleed as they were drying. I used Gelatos to create another layer of circles, which I spritzed and blended with my finger. After that I brushed white paint over the panel randomly.
When the panel was dry, I ran it through my Big Shot with a Darice embossing folder.
This sweet summer image and the sentiment are coming soon from Impression Obsession!
I used Touch Twin Markers to color in the image. My card also fits this week's Die Cut Stencil and Sand challenges - yay! I used Flower Soft to add some sandy texture to the corner, and modeling paste and glitter for the waves.

Super, Dina! Wonderful background of circles in fab colors. I was working with Flower Soft for sand yesterday....lots of sand. Didn't look so good and into the trash it went. Of course, yours looks great.
Love the sentiment.

Your cards are so amazing. Your instructions are always great, but you incorporate so many interesting techniques that I give up...no one can make a real "Dini" card. I love the dry embossed bkg and your colored image is fantastic. Great colors too.
