I used an iris as my theme as did Harriet, but changed it to a stencil with embossing paste and pearlescent powders. I heated it from underneath to get it to dry faster and ended up scorching the white area a bit so sponged with Antique Linen to hide the scorch! I changed Harriet's embossed edge on one side to a die cut fleur de lis border, and changed the colour scheme totally.
Congratulations, Harriet!

Susan that iris is gorgeous! I have so much trouble with embossing paste and stencils and shy away from it but I love how it looks. i guess I need to practice. Thank you so much for taking the time to case a card from my gallery. And thank you so much for always leaving supportive comments on my and other's cards!

I love those Dreamweaver stencils but all I've ever done is emboss with them. Obviously I'm missing a great technique! I love the shimmer and raised dimension your Iris has. Beautifully chosen shimmery papers too! Gorgeous card and nice case of Harriet's water coloured image.

Oh my Susan..I really love the sheen your beautiful card has and the fab colours you used. That iris stencil looks terrific using the embossing paste. I always say..there are no accidents..just creative opportunities! LOL
