Power Poppy is hosting a challenge - Power Poppy Peep of the week. I was inspired by both Dina Kowal's video yesterday (watercoloring with distress markers) and by Katie Sims (who has addicted me to the Krylon Gold Leafing Pen *haha*). My card today uses one of Power Poppy's first stamp sets (Azalea). I stamped the Azalea's with Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black) on watercolor paper and colored with Ranger Distress Markers. I applied my distress marker ink directly on my craft mat and picked up the color with my waterbrush pen. Once the piece was dry I went back with additional color directly on the paper. Check out the Power Poppy's Peep of the Week Challenge.
Thank you Dina and Katie for always inspiring us to create beautiful things. What will you create today?

Oh, my, I've missed you. How utterly gorgeous! Beautiful and very realistic coloring. I think I have a Krylon Gold Leafing pen, but have been afraid to use it. Silly, right? I'll have to check the drawer...
