Well, it's official. 2 step stamping is definately not my thing. I just about filled the trash can with all my attempts. This is the only 2 step stamp set that I have. It's super old and I have never used it. Now I know why. I ended up posting this "not quite right" card since I couldn't go to bed admitting total defeat. I colored the stamp with markers, stamped the purple and yellow flowers and sprayd with water. Then I stamped the outline stamp with black using the "thing a ma jig". I stamped some green "things" and sprayed them with water too. Outlined with white and black gel pen. I am going back to my copics and prisma pencils.

Oh Francie - when you look at this with less tired eyes I hope you see that its a lovely card. The colours and textures are lovely, your green "things" are lovely too. I'm all for posting cards that I don't think turned out the best because it's a record of the journey.
And I long ago decided that as far as I was concerned, the whole thing about two-step stamping was that it didn't have to look perfect!

I love the way the colors bled with water! And you consider this not so good? I'd love to look through your trash can then! Francie, this is beautiful!
