Mary gave us a palette of bright colors today plus two neutrals:
White
Black
Bermuda Bay
Strawberry Slush
Crushed Curry
Dessert: masculine card or one for Father's Day
This is a SUPER quick and easy card. Mary's colors intrigued me in that the three "colors" were the three primary colors with a slight twist. You see green and purple on my card(but no orange since the Strawberry overpowered the Curry)...it was done by the layering of these three colors......forming the secondary colors of the color wheel. My stamp had a double chevron, so I stamped each color once, overlapping the last color by a little bit with the next one......creating the green and purple. In all, I only stamped 4 times: 1 for each color and one for the sentiment. All five colors of the challenge were used on my card. I consider it a masculine birthday card and added black enamel dots.

WOW! First, I am so impressed with how straight this is, straight is not in my persona! Second I love the rainbow of colors! Third, what a fantastic way to use the challenge colors, Sallie!

Nice, Sallie. The hints of secondary colors really add some extra pop to this. Strange just how overpowering the strawberry is as the curry is a strong color too. It does make a great card for either gender.
