This is for Inspiration Challenge 444. It went far afield from its inspiration piece, which is (hopefully) HERE. (Having trouble getting that link to work, sorry.) But it was my jumping off point, so I say that counts.
I used just the outline stamp from the layered florals set, and colored it in with watercolor pencils, using a greeny-blue from the same color family as that in the picture. After that, I chose one other color - a coral - that created an Art Nouveau-ish palette, sort of. I blended, added more layers of pencil and then did the drywall-tape-and-paint trick to give the piece the feel of a painting.
The flowers are not quite so light IRL. I had a bit of a problem photographing this. I never work with a white card base, so I always photograph against white, which didn't work here, much to my surprise, duh. And I don't have much practice picking colors to photograph cards against. Blah blah blah excuse excuse blah, need I say more?
Sort of a simple card for me. But it really looked finished this way. I tried to force a bit of twine onto it and it spat it back at me, so I left it unadorned.
Thanks for looking!

I really like the drywall mesh with your flowers. LOL at your description of the card not wanting twine - been there, done that.I get a file not found when I click on your inspiration link...but I love the drama of the bright colours against the black layer.
