This week's CAS challenge is a technique challenge. Jen (Miss Boo) chose the two step stamp technique.
I needed a graduation card for my nephew who has just graduated from high school. My new Mama Elephant stamp set is perfect for the 2-step technique and for a graduate. I also used my new neon yellow ink pad from Amuse Studio, which is really bright and fun. I built the bulb, 2-step style, from the stamp set, added a little glitter to the middle, then cut it and popped it on a dimensional. The background is a combo of a star stencil and a star stamp (sort of 2-step). I used a prismacolor pencil to make a border matching the warm grey of the Seattle ink pad.

What a perfect ink colour for a new graduate from high school. Especially since they kind of 'explode' out of there! :-) Love your background stars and the grey border that contains all the excitement just enough.

Sue, this is such a fun graduation card! I love that neon yellow - so perfect here, and the bit of sparkle inside the light bulb. Your stenciled stars make a great background.
