I am thrilled for my friend Nancy, stiz2003, on joining the Royal Family! She is the new Queen! Nancy is my friend IRL as well as here on the Coast. We met for lunch back in 2012 & have become good friends & stamping buddies. Here's something you might not know about Nancy.... she unmounted ALL of her wood stamps & remounted them onto cling foam. She has a fabulous stamp room. Nancy has taught me so much. I do things that I would never do otherwise, like hand stitching on my cards. She gladly shares her stuff & knowledge. I'm proud to call her friend.
Nancy's first card, Making Spirits Bright, is the one I cased. You can see it here. I changed the image, kept the card square & the same layout, I used various media to color, I left off charms & much of the stitching. It took me a while & the stickles still aren't dry - they take forever.
Nancy, I hope you enjoy your time in the royal limelight. You deserve this! Wear the crown proudly! xoxox
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen, I LOVE your snowman and your hand stitching! The papers in your layers are so perfect for him! It's been so fun stamping with you! You are the lady with the ideas for sure. While I am still agonizing over a background, it is you that has three cards done. Your ideas have been an inspiration. Thank YOU!

You are indeed blessed to have such a VERY special friend in Nancy. Her kindness comes through in the comments she leaves...and her talent....well, we all know about how she has loads of that! : ) You wrote a lovely tribute to her that is matched by the special CASE you created in her honor, Karen.
