I'm so excited to have been selected as one of the CAS Summer 2014 Design Team members. For our first challenge, we were to make something quick and stackable, for when you need a lot of cards in a hurry. Well, it just so happens that I'm behind on my Christmas Cards for the year so I decided to make my June design something that I could crank out quickly. I made 11 of these in about 30 minutes (you can see the stack off to the side, with the alternate tree topper).
This was originally intended as one layer card, but I smeared the very first one at the edge and had to cut it down to save it. The end result, with the cherry cobbler paper and the red pinstripe paper, looked so good that I went with it for all of the cards.
