Not what I was originally starting out with this morning....it kind of morphed into this ;) For the bg I used a feather stencil and sponged Red Lead inks on top. The quote is vellum stapled onto some paper that I rubbed with getatos and misted. I added some glossy accents to the pencil. This card is a bit "out there" but sometimes you just have to go where your imagination leads you. TFL!

I like where you got to! Great combo of elements - the expression on that girl's face is priceless, and that uneven cut around the popped-up sentiment is perfect. And in pink! Love it!

I love the bright colors and the message rings so true for you as you let this card be your canvas. Passing on these bits of wisdom are what is our purpose in life, is it not?

Sounds as if you let your sentiment dictate (wrong word, guide??) your processes in the the making of this card. I really like your vivid feathers contrasting with the vintage B&W image - and I love the pencil with the coloured splash at its tip.

Love it when our finished product no way resembles what we originally had in our mind. Polly, I am Glad you let your imagination flow, because this is awesome!

SO bright and colorful, Polly! I admit, I was looking all over for the feathers. Read your description and then..Of Course! I see the feathers, lol. It was like one of those whatchamacallits where you try to see different things.

I love the direction this took from whatever you originally imagined. Sometimes the just seem to take on a life of their own - usually my outcomes are best when this happens. Can't imagine that your plan was better than this turned out - its fantastic!
