I wanted to show how the leafing looks when embossed. This folder works wonderfully, but you really don't see the beautiful variegated pattern in the leafing. Instead of using the glue pad, I use the double sided adhesive sheets from Score Pal. When you rune this through the embossing machine, I use either a piece of tissue paper or waxed paper to protect the leafing.
For the butterflies, I die cut them with the double sided adhesive, then added the leafing.
A frame ef would really show this beautiful variegated leaf to it's full beauty.
TFL!

Gorgeous, Jennifer. I can imagine how this shimmers IRL with the variegated gold leaf. Your embossing pattern is lovely and the vellum butterflies give a delicate accent to your bg which is the star,

CONGRATULATIONS to being chosen a favorite card on SCS!!! What an absolutely STUNNING card!!! Although I am sure in person it's even more gorgeous, the colors coming out in the leafing is just amazing. This is not a technique I've done except in a very basic way, I will have to find more info as to how to do this. This is art, gorgeous art!!!
