I went for a stylized flag on my card. I took a stencil for making a journal, I added texture paste to the red cardstock. I knew I wanted stars but I didn't have a star stencil. So I made one using a scrap of cardstock and my star punch. Then I used that stencil to add texture paste to the blue. I took a toothbrush and splattered white paint to the red and blue. Partly for interest and partly to cover up where I got texture paste where I didn't want it. I stamped the sentiment from MFP set called BE PROUD. I "Yankee" Doodled around the edges.

You are beyond creative and made some fabulous creations yesterday! When are we getting together? I love the stars. There is always an answer!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
