When I saw the challenge for today I knew imediately what I would do. I'm still sorting boxes from our move 9 months ago and I recently found an envelope full of vintage Holly Hobbie gift wrap pieces I had saved back in 1968- or 69 from making a 3D paper piecing piece to hang in my bedroom when I was in High School. (Yes it was definitely time to sort through that box!) I just love these little figures though so I had to use one of them for the challenge today. I still have more! It was fun to do all the cutting again.

What a charming and delightful card. The embossed and sponged background makes a lovely garden setting for your sweet Holly Hobbie. LOL because I too have saved wrapping paper which has survived at least 3 moves - but at least you have now used yours. What a great card for the challenge.
Brings back memories, too, of making and dressing my own Holly Hobbie rag doll.

I really love your gorgeous vintage card. Hollie Hobby was always my most favourite and I know all about saving that wrapping paper! Thanks for the inspiration..I think I will dig it out to-day..I know right where it is! LOL
