I finally inked this new stamp from Northwoods and as I colored it I noticed the chubby bird on the left has the "mom is mad" look. These are colored with copics and pencils, then masked and sponged. These are so easy to color. Thanks for looking.

Or the "What are YOU lookin' at" look!
What a great stamp, Nancy! And you've colored it so beautifully! I am practicing my coloring to improve, and I always envy people like you who can do such lovely, subtle work. Wonderful card!

Great card! I have a painting done by a friend that always goes up in the winter, as it has snow - where I started, the painting is very similar to this! This is so well colored and your sponging brings out the focal of the birds! Well done! tfs

Nancy, this is breath-taking. As a bird lover/watcher, I so appreciate the realistic and beautiful way that you have colored the chickadees. The gentle shading around them is all you need plus the sentiment to make this absolutely exquisite Christmas card. A TRUE beauty!
