About June 2010, I saw a shirt card made by Nancy Riley on her blog iStamp and thought it was a fabulous idea for a masculine card for Father's Day or a birthday - so printed it out and put it in my "To do" folder. And FINALLY I am now getting around to making it - only took me 4 years :-)
I didn't use Nancy's instructions but used Susan Roberts' instructions from her blog Rainy Day Creations here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers - and then borrowed the sleeve idea from Kerry Cox's shirt cards (I have links on my blog for Nancy and Kerry's blog posts).
The card took me about 15 minutes all up. It is so quick and easy (even for me who isn't very good at following directions!). The collar is up on dimensionals as is the sleeve/cuff. I rounded the corners of the cuff with a SU corner punch.
The dp is old - at least from 2008 - and is from the Kaisercraft Lone Ranger collection. If I was doing the card again, I would pop the tie up on dimensionals instead of gluing it flat.
The buttons are from my stash. I added matching green thread then glued them on with Crafter's Pick Incredibly Tacky glue.
