Used a technique from the OCC watercoloring class. I believe it was Day 6 and Jennifer McGuire. I stamped and embossed the image and then colored in each of the sections of the image with distress markers. Then using the shimmer spritz as "water" I painted water in each section creating the watercolor effect and giving it sparkle at the same time. It's much softer looking IRL. Mounted the image (after stamping sentiment) on mambo cs and then popped it up. White panel is embossed with a lovely flowered embossing folder.
This was a birthday card for my good friend Cathy who introduced me to this addicting, I mean, relaxing hobby!

And, can I tell everyone that the card IRL is even prettier than in the picture!! It sits on my desk as an inspiration. Your eye for clean lines continues to inspire me, Maura. Thanks for the special birthday card. Hugs!
