Yes, sometimes the downside of making successful BGs is that you don't want to cover them up! But you've done a great job of letting us see this one while still layering other elements over it. Very cool!

Fabulous background and LOVE your creative style! How clever to use a block and I too, have the same issue now by not using designer papers. This is fantastic, Joanne!
