And I thought last week was a busy week when it came to making my TPT card? This week is definitely worse, with a special project on in work and extra hours.
So, this isn't nearly as fancy as I'd imagined and planned...
I cut the base from white card (trimmed the centre "nub" off the bottom edge of the back so it stands well), and the front from watercolour paper. Stamped the image, stamped the verse, masked the image and stamped Heather's ears (Heather herself is hiding out inside the card. In hindsight I should have cut out the frame part of the image and stamped the verse on the inside - then I wouldn't have needed to stamp the rabbit twice...
Extra bricks drawn in, flowers coloured with pencils, inside of frame sponged with blue, brick wall painted with Antique Linen re-inker. I popped the swallow (no larks or sparrows, but swallows and swifts are a pretty good indicator of summer on the way!) up on foam, to add to the idea that the little rabbit is tucked into the background.

But so very, very pretty! Just exactly the kind of card to bring peace and encouragement to someone.
I love that you made it into that shape. I have not yet strayed from the standard rectangular A2 format, and your card inspires me to think about it.

So very beautiful, Sabrina! Heather looks quite safe and at peace in the lovely garden that you arranged for her. Your featured scripture is perfect. Thank you so much for coming to JoAnn's teaparty - I hope that we can buoy her spirits a bit by knowing all of the love and prayers going out to her. Now go get some of those bunny cookies before you get too busy with some other project!! Hugz from New Jersey.

What a sweet card! I love the brick wall bg and the wonderful combination of God's creatures and nature's beauty. I'm sure JoAnn will love this and feel comfort in its message.

Beautiful Sabrina. I wish I would think to do shaped cards because I think they're so pretty. Love your brick wall, the vines of flowers and the bird and bunny. Awesome work.
I hope things smooth out for you at work.

I read your card description and thought....What!!??? Not fancy?? LOL...This is just that a fanciful, Spring card with lots of thoughtful details. Love your hand drawn bricks and the sponging or coloring on them gives them a realistic look. Love the verse, your coloring, the die-cut card shape and your popped-up bird. Beautiful work.

What a great shaped card! I avoid them as I never have any ideas - this is great. By the way, I had to go back and look again to spot the bunny LOL!! Thanks for all the ideas I get from you - now just to find time to use them... and I am retired!
