Okay before you groan and toss tomatoes. ( I know it's a "me" card, but seriously there are not many styles I don't do) but, I never and there is not a single thing in this how ever many pages of gallery I have amassed in here something water-colored with real watercolor pencils... that being said, Judy. thanks for the push!! I have decided I "have to" at least attempt to learn to make these pencils work properly. the rest of the story and the pencil list can be seen on the blog. tfl.

Stacy, this is so darling. That image looks like it was from the fifties! Love it and you colored it so well! I love your filigree die bg. Gorgeous and it looks like you sponged it with pink! tfs

I just finished reading your blog, Stacy, and you made me smile. You are quite dramatic about these watercolor pencils, to say the least! Now, I do agree that there is not as much control as using a blender pen with ink pads, but hey, look what you did in the end with this beautiful result! A wonderful tribute to a baby girl.....lovely delicate framing and sweet little ribbons and pearls! A true treasure for someone special~

Stacy this is precious! I agree with Rita that the image looks like something from the 50's. You did a great job with the watercolor pencils...they aren't as easy to use as other mediums...I applaud you for sticking with it ;)

Oh, Stacy, this is so funny! I LOVE the die and this sweet baby, and it IS hard to get out of our comfort zone! But you've done a great job on this sweet little babe, and I enjoyed reading your blog post on how you tried (and tried again) to achieve this look! Good for you - it's darling! Hugs!
