This is for FS379 and NancyK is our featured artist today. Congratulations Nancy. I had a wonderful time going through your gallery. You are an extremely talented colorist. I loved your flower cards. I was inspired by Nancy's Gladiola card found here: CC476 Gladiola.nk by NancyK. at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the same basic layout and color combination as Nancy's. I used die cut flowers instead of stamped and I created an all white background with the exception of the green layer. I wanted the flowers to be the main focus of the card. You can see my step by step tutorial on how I made my flowers on my Mother's Day blog post found here: http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/05/m...-tutorial.html
Happy Mother's Day! I hope you are all being pampered or are pampering your own moms. My mother has been gone 15 years but I still miss her and always remember her especially on Mother's Day. I had to make a special flower card to honor her today. She was a florist and would have loved my paper flower creations.

Oh I do love lilies! The plant I got at Easter looked just like this. This is a gorgeous Mother's Day card and a fitting remembrance of your mom. I love the pink and green colour combination.
