The stripes were stamped on the side of the cardbase first. The navy blue panel was then embossed using the anchor die so that the silver anchor would fit right into the impression. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with silver e.p. The anchor was diecut from mirror silver cardstock and adhered into the embossed impression. Next I used found cord and created a nautical knot as an embellishment. I popped the navy panel up with foam tape onto the cardbase.
While this card could be used for a lot of different occasions, I'm using it as a baby congratulations for my grand-nephew.
