Linda's WT challenge this week was to use your birth month's flower or stone. I didn't realize that morning glories were an option for September. I created the "frame" around my morning glories by embossing the Floral Oval die into my card base.

Very pretty, Lois! Didn't realize morning glories were for September either.

Wow...this turned out stunning. I never think to emboss these die cut ovals, but it looks amazing here. You might see this technique in my future cards since I like it so much in your card. Pretty colors with great coloring and design make this a stand out in the gallery.

A wonderful dry-embossed frame, with your pretty flowers looking as if they were on a decorative plaque. I do love these - and we don't get them here, just the wild bindweed and who wants that as a weed in their gardens :-(.

Lois, this is beautiful with the embossed frame. Like how you colored your morning glories. These heirloom flowers are sometimes forgotten with the new manicure look of landscapes today. They can be very invasive, but so pretty in the morning. Thanks for gracing the challenge gallery today.

Morning Glories are always such a delight to see on my morning walk. I will think of you when I see them! I like the embossed farm you have created too.
