I hope this still fits in todays sketch...I started out with just my girl colored and cut and did not know what to do with her. then I saw today's sketch and thought ( after a couple days of not knowing what to do with her ) I will make mom a victoiran room as the circle reminded m of her in front of a mirror.
so I flipped the sketch, used the 2 bg panels as wallpaper, the oval instead of the circle to fit better. Had to put the tag in different spot....then got to thinking what about a pillar...hm...how can I do that one. so I cut out the white paper, then added lines with the scor-pal, and that let me curve it, bent the 2 sides a touch in to glue it down, they then looked boring so added the vine and pink decos and finished it with that strip, wasnt quite sure how to make a fancier bottom of the pillar. Mom does liek blue moare as that is why I start coloring her in blues, but then found this super pretty paper that worked so nice for my wall paper, so added the coulpe flowers on my mirror to match. which is cut out with brown base and shiny wall paper for inside then also cut a lyer of clear plastic for the shine, shows a bit better IRL. the wall edges needed that edging so cut a couple strips and scored the edges. and then added actually the little bits of scraps from the small die-cut on the top and bottom of pillar and used that to decorate the edging with a couple little pearls. Added a touch more pearls, as a lady needs some bling and then while they were out I made her a pearl necklace....Hope its not to busy.
thanks for the visit...come on over for a cup of high tea...:0)
Hey do you think I should add a vase of flowers or something on the ledge to make it more a ledge and not wall....did not knwo how to make my half a girl whole so thought it might work as her behind a ledge..?

Really a lovely and unique Mother's Day card, Wendy. The Greek column with the climbing vine is fantastic! Beautiful vintage lady image who is looking in the mirror. And I love your wallpaper.
