I just wanted to share an accurate sample of the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities on the Copic users preferred paper. Had I hit the autofix button to edit my photo, it would look flipping awesome, but it wouldn't help one bit to do that.
As a Copic user, I was sure that these would look even better on the X-press blending card. While they did blend better and leave a less noticeable transition between shades, they muted the color a bit. Kind of defeats the purpose of color matching.
I also strayed from the method of coloring used in the catalog premiere. I've never been great at shading with the copics, but I'm happy with how this one turned out. I did each petal individually, just as I would do with copics. I still stuck with the dark to light progression demonstrated at the premiere. I tried the Copic light to dark and it looked awful.
I expect we will be learning new things each day through trial and error. Maybe a little less error if we can share what does work in an easy to find place.
Feel free to use this for reference. I'm going to turn it into a card now. If only any of our current sets had a Mother's Day sentiment. I might have to go hybrid and use MDS.
Oh, time to color was roughly 15 minutes. Probably less for someone without bad carpal tunnel in one arm and nerve damage in the others. Those lids are getting on my last nerve, but worth it. I'm loving these!

Love the blending. I too am a copic user and love them. I appreciate your comments and opinion of the new blendabilities. I am waiting for a few that I have on order so I can try them out.
