hi there,
Congrats to Jeannie Thomas aka Jeannie1862 for being the FS today. Here is her card that I cased: Yellow Flower Note for You by Jeannie1862 at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the stamp to an inked embossing folder then sponged the edges with Distress inks instead of using another another layer of cardstock and doodled a border.
thanks for looking.

Karen, what a beautiful card. Love the colors you put together and how you framed it with doodles.

I like your inked-up embossing folder (I think I have that one) rather than a stamp. And your doodling around it sets it off nicely. (And thanks for your kind thoughts!)

Oh, my, Karen I saw this and another card this morning on your blog and LOVE both of them! You have definitely got me looking at my embossing in a WHOLE new way! I love this with the striking colors (our faves), and the doodled border is fabulous! Hugs, my sweet friend!
