This is my card for the MMTPT300 challenge "A Place To Call Our Own". The Teapotters have a wonderful place to gather now, but it's completely bare, so our challenge this week was to bring anything necessary to have a proper tea party. Well, you can't very well have a tea party without teacups, right?
I created this card using a digital design kit I purchased from Aimee Asher Boutique. The card was designed in Photoshop CS4. After choosing the elements, resizing them, adding shadow and text, I printed the focal layer on white cs and trimmed it to layer onto the smooth side of the Core'dinations mat.
The teacups are embellished with Glossy Accents and Wink of Stella brown pen; I used Wink of Stella clear brush pen to outline the text. I added a ribbon - ! - and simple knot, adhered the image to the mat and the mat to the card base using Scor-tape.
As always, thanks for looking!

this is a cute pile of t-cups....neat designs...and I think I will have dibs on the fun blue with the stripes and polka dots...so fun. It is good to be covered on the t-cup supply as I think we will continue to have fun t-parties and with 42,,000 girls...will be so fun in our new place. Love how you set them up on that sweet note and finished with a pretty ribbon...just lovely...TFS..:0)

What beautiful teacups, Jody. I love that they're all different and I couldn't possibly pick a favourite. I have to admit I like a big mug of tea myself, but there's something special about a tea-party with fine bone china. Fab colours in the card, too.
