This week’s ODBD Shining the Light challenge is our 200th challenge, and it’s using spring colors. So I chose the Zinnia set with the sentiment from The Lord Has Risen. I fussy-cut the various layers of the smaller zinna (even though there is a die for it), added dimension to each layer, and used a gold glitter pen that you really can’t see in the photo. I sponged around the sentiment, and added one of the Beautiful Borders. I paper-pierced and matted it, popping the flower on top of the leaves. It was time-consuming but a lot of fun! Hope you like it!

Oh how gorgeous Cheryl!! I just love the zinnia and your colors paired with the twine woven through the lacy border. The touch of color on the border and sentiment to frame the beautiful scripture is perfect!!! Hugs my friend!

Oh my goodness, I could sit and study this all day. Cheryl (my sweet DD sis) this is stunning. Your zinnia is beautiful and looks perfect with the lacy border and embroidery thread. Straight into My Favs. xx
