Really a fun challenge to-day. I have a feeling I will be using this technique a lot. The Pillow background was sponged with Lipstick distress ink from Mr Holtz. As promised I have used an old stamp set from 2004 and a Penny Black set from who knows when for the sentiment. I use all kinds of colouring methods but find the prisma pencils and OMS is the easiest and fastest. Just a dot of colour here and there and smear! What could be more perfect than that!

Very elegant and sophisticated, this looks! The soft pink with the black matting and ribbon looks just great. And way to go with not covering too much of the background up - that always kills me when I've put time and effort into making one, I usually like to leave as much on show as possible .

Sue, you created an elegant and beautiful card. Love the soft pink pillow top to be the back panel of your lovely rose. Your coloring is always beautifully done.

Good for you for using an old but goodie stamp today too. I used an old one from 2004 today too. This is such a pretty card and love the pink pillow top panel.
