I have a friend who ordered two Graduation cards for her grandsons, and they are hunters, so she wanted deer on the card....so then I thought I would try the ODBD sketch for this week...
I turned the grass right side up for the across thingy...and I did follow the sketch, and then covered some of it with the flower soft and a few branches, I used the hat as the circle, and moved it up in the right corner...more appropriate there, and I wanted to use the deer from ODBD, but thought this was more masculine for the guys.
But I did use the ODBD Birch Trees ,
Recipe:

Thanks for Looking

Well, Jan, I don't know how you keep up with making all these wonderful cards for your neighbors and friends - anniversaries, birthdays, and now, graduation - you sure know how to fill the bill!!
The birch tree BG is the perfect setting for your deer and so appropriate for the young hunter receiving it. Love the way you did the grassy foreground, added the pine branches and the grad's cap and year for a real treasure of a memory. Awesome!!
