For this week's pillow bg challenge. True to form, I tweaked the process by drawing a sharpie line on the plastic, 5/8 inch from the edge, using the line to guide the sponging as I slid the plastic along. I also sponged only the edges, leaving the scripture free. And I sponged the edges of the inside panel with the pillow top technique as well. You can barely see it in the photo.
This was my work-week scripture.
Monday - soaring on wings like eagles
Tuesday - running
Wednesday - not growing weary
Thursday - walking
Friday - not fainting
Eh. Now I'm retired, and every day's Saturday!

Aha. But you of all people, with a quilter's eye, I'm sure are more than capable of eyeballing the increments very accurately. It's a neat idea, though - thanks for sharing it. And I love the way you've left a reverse mask, so to speak, in the centre for the verse. It gives this such a lovely soft feel.
