Back with details later-sorry but I've got guests coming tonight and I'm just not ready.
*Needed a sympathy card for a member of our church who lost her mom. The challenge to use trees made me think of the birch tree stamp that hadn't seen ink yet. I stamped in white over Slate. I originally had a blue base so I added some chalk ink blues between the trees and along the edge of the panel. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey and then decided to use the same for my base. Seeing Angela's pretty dogwood card had given me the thought to have a flowered branch in the foreground. I used a stylus to shape my petals a bit and added pearls to the centers and added these to my branch.

I know the feeling, Gail. And you just reminded me that I need a Sympathy card for tomorrow after work. Thanks. Oops. Almost forgot why I came here. I think your colors are perfect for a sympathy card and I love the flowers.
